Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including carbon steel, aluminum and thin wall stainless tubing, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to project requirements.
- Conduct inspections of welds and finished products for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a TIG welder and fabricator.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
