We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder / Pipe Welder
for one of our premier manufacturing partners. This position is responsible for welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components while producing high-quality work that meets blueprint specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong TIG welding experience, can read blueprints and weld symbols, and possesses pipe fitting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform high-quality TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
Weld pipe and fabricated assemblies to blueprint and customer specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, drilling, milling, tapping, and fitting components prior to welding.
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings as required.
Change welding wire, filler materials, and shielding gas cylinders as needed.
Package, label, and move finished products to designated locations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Monitor welding equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance.
Report equipment issues requiring repair.
Operate a forklift when required (after proper training).
Work independently while also supporting production team goals.
Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of
3 years of TIG welding experience
in a manufacturing environment.
Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Pipe fitting experience with
Schedule 40 carbon steel and stainless steel pipe from ¼" through 8".
Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Strong understanding of welding processes and quality standards.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
