TIG welder

J&K Commercial Construction is a commercial construction company with a rapidly growing manufacturing division. We are seeking skilled Stainless Steel TIG Welders to join our dynamic team.

Experience welding 304 stainless steel from 18-gauge to 12-gauge is required. We are willing to provide additional training for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within our organization.

Our fabrication shop specializes in custom stainless-steel products for commercial kitchens, including sinks, tables, cabinetry, hoods, and food service equipment.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities

**

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly

• Set up and weld a variety of stainless-steel materials and gauges, typically ranging from 20-gauge to 12-gauge

• Perform TIG welding on custom stainless-steel components and assemblies

• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine machine maintenance

• Conduct quality inspections to verify precision, accuracy, and appearance of finished products

• Grind, finish, and polish stainless steel welds to meet quality standards

• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

**Qualifications

**

• Previous TIG welding experience with stainless steel is required

• Experience welding 304 stainless steel from 18-gauge to 12-gauge preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Proficiency with electric and pneumatic hand tools used for grinding and polishing

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
