The TIG/MIG Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating components using TIG and MIG welding processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds on thin materials.
Responsibilities:
Perform TIG and MIG welding, with a primary focus on TIG welding.
TIG weld thin-gauge aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Weld aluminum material approximately .063" and thicker.
Weld steel and stainless steel ranging from approximately 16 gauge through 11 gauge.
Set up and operate welding equipment according to material type and job requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, measurements, and work instructions.
Prepare, fit, and align materials prior to welding.
Maintain proper heat control when welding thin materials to prevent warping, burn-through, and distortion.
Inspect completed welds for quality, appearance, and proper penetration.
Perform grinding, finishing, and other basic fabrication work as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and welding standards.
Work independently while also being able to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous professional TIG welding experience required.
MIG welding experience preferred.
Experience welding thin-gauge aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
Ability to produce clean, consistent TIG welds with minimal distortion.
Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Previous industrial, manufacturing, marine, or fabrication experience preferred.
Work Schedule & Hours:
Full-time position averaging 40–56 hours per week, including overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
Extended hours may be required to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.

Sheet Metal Fabricators with Welding Experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates who have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and some TIG/MIG welding experience may also be considered for this position.
