Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
To assist sport officials in keeping score and time during youth and/or adult games.
Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE POSITION:
Exposure to indoor gymnasium conditions including crowd noises and heat or cold. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least a sophomore in high school or have equivalent education or experience.
Reliable transportation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience playing or scorekeeping of sports
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must attend a Timer/Scorer training school.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION:
Duties involve remaining seated for the duration of a game with few break opportunities. May involve physical tasks such as walking/running over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing in place or continual walking, lifting and carrying of moderate to heavy items (including people) on a consistent basis. Exposure to moving objects such as sports equipment.

The work schedule for this position is Saturday mornings/afternoons from the months of November 2026 through February 2027 with the hours being anytime between 8:00am - 3:00pm. Are you available to work this work schedule?
