Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, replacing, and maintaining tires on various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation levels
Repair punctures and perform tire patching as needed
Mount, balance, and rotate tires efficiently and accurately
Install new tires on passenger vehicles, light trucks, and/or commercial vehicles
Perform routine maintenance services such as checking air pressure and tread depth
Ensure proper disposal of old or damaged tires
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Provide excellent customer service and explain services when needed
Job Skills Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to operate tire-changing and balancing equipment
Valid drivers license may be required
Previous experience in tire service or automotive repair is a plus (but not always required)
