Description for Tire Technician:

• Safely mount, demount, balance, and rotate passenger and commercial vehicle tires.
• Perform routine, rapid front-end safety inspections on steering and suspension components.
• Safely operate pneumatic impact guns, tire changers, computerized wheel balancers, and jacks.
• Maintain a highly organized work area, clean shop bays, and assist mechanics with ad-hoc tasks.
• Enforce a zero-shortcut safety mindset and handle customer vehicles with extreme care.

Details for Tire Technician:

• Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour DOE (Overtime required).
• Schedule (Temp-to-Hire): Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) AND Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
• Schedule (Post-Rollover): Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) AND Saturdays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
• Location: Longview, WA area.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements for Tire Technician:

• Prior tire-changing, auto maintenance, or general shop helper experience preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Ability to handle heavy physical labor (standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs).
• Must supply own closed-toe, non-slip footwear (Shop provides coveralls).
• Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
