Job Title: Tissue Culture Biologist
Location: Pasadena, CA 91101
Duration: 12+ months Contract
Pay Rate: $48.02/Hr on W2 (Max)

Position Summary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, biotechnology, or related field.

· Experience in tissue culture with mammalian cells; at least one year preferred.

· Experience in using automation platforms, such as Tecan, Hamilton, or Beckman Coulter preferred.

· Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, R, or Python.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

· As a tissue culture biologist, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding various cell lines, performing and troubleshooting cell-based assays, and optimizing protocols.

· You will work with human whole blood and primary cells, including their isolation, culture, and use in downstream assays.

· You will also provide automation support and data analysis for high-throughput in-vitro assays using liquid handlers.

· You will work closely with other scientists and engineers on the Protomer team to ensure and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the tissue culture and automation processes.
