Tissue Processor - Medical Devices - 1st Shift

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Schedule 1 shift 4 AM - 1:30 PM

Join a leading medical device company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative technologies. We are seeking a detail-oriented Tissue Processor to support the preparation of raw tissue materials for manufacturing, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tissue Preparation:
  • Use forceps and gauges to identify tissue portions that meet thickness and specification requirements for product components.
  • Visual Inspection:
  • Assess leaflets and incoming pericardial tissue for imperfections using scalpels, forceps, and scissors.
  • Machine Operation:
  • Operate fixation and die-cut machines to process tissue and produce individual leaflets.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Follow established work instructions and SOPs, accurately record traceable information in device history records.
  • Sanitation & Safety:
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces and equipment between tissue lots to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Attendance & Reliability:
  • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance, working full 8-hour shifts with minimal absenteeism.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Perform other incidental tasks as needed to support tissue processing operations.

Qualifications:

  • High attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and regulatory guidelines
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom or regulated environment
  • Previous experience in medical device manufacturing or tissue handling is a plus
