As a Tissue Recovery Regional Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Recovery Technicians responsible for ocular tissue recovery operations across the St. Louis and Springfield regions. This role combines hands-on recovery work, team leadership, quality oversight, and operational management while supporting a mission that helps restore sight through donation.What You'll DoLead & Develop the Team Coach, mentor, and support Recovery Technicians while fostering a positive, mission-driven culture.Oversee Daily Operations Manage staffing, scheduling, coverage, and operational support across multiple locations.Perform Recovery Procedures Conduct ocular tissue recoveries, donor evaluations, documentation, and related clinical activities.Ensure Quality & Compliance Maintain compliance with EBAA, FDA, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures.Support Hiring & Training Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, competency development, and performance management.Drive Continuous Improvement Partner with leadership to improve processes, enhance team performance, and maintain operational excellenceThe Work EnvironmentThis position operates across a variety of healthcare and tissue procurement settings including: Hospital morgues and healthcare facilitiesMedical examiner offices and autopsy facilitiesFuneral homes and mortuariesOffice environments throughout the service region This role supports teams in both St. Louis and Springfield, IL and requires regular travel between locations. Supervisors also participate in a shared on-call schedule, typically covering 1-2 shifts per week.
