REQUIRED CRITERIA:
? Master's Degree in School Counseling or Student Personnel Services
? Knowledge of school counseling theories and techniques
? Appropriate counseling level experience preferred
? Follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Professional Standards & Competencies and Ethical Standards
? Understanding of and ability to contribute to the development of a school's master schedule
? Understanding of and ability to support administration with the implementation of standardized assessments (e.g., state testing, College Board) at the building and district level
? Ability to utilize district technology tools effectively to enhance and inform continuous improvement
? Ability to interact, intervene, collaborate, and coordinate with all stakeholders through a social justice lens
? Ability to advocate and lead school counseling initiatives to support all students
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
? Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or designee may find appropriate and acceptable
