REQUIRED CRITERIA:
- NJ Certification in School Counseling (preferred) or Student Personnel Services
- Master's Degree in School Counseling or Student Personnel Services
- Knowledge of school counseling theories and techniques
- Appropriate counseling level experience preferred
- Follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Professional Standards & Competencies and Ethical Standards
- Understanding of and ability to contribute to the development of a school's master schedule
- Understanding of and ability to support administration with the implementation of standardized assessments (e.g., state testing, College Board) at the building and district level
- Ability to utilize district technology tools effectively to enhance and inform continuous improvement
- Ability to interact, intervene, collaborate, and coordinate with all stakeholders through a social justice lens
- Ability to advocate and lead school counseling initiatives to support all students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
