POSITION TITLE: Title I Tutors
POSITION LOCATION: Multiple Buildings (In-Person)
SALARY: $16.50/hour*

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: School Principal, DST TI Coordinator, TI Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 60 college credit hours.
Experience working with elementary children of diverse backgrounds.
Experience with teaching/tutoring in math and/or reading desired.
Ability to follow directions and work independently.
Ability to communicate clearly with children and adults.
Ability to use technology in a professional setting including digital learning platforms
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide math and reading support for identified TI students including supplemental instruction
Collaborate with classroom teachers and TI teacher
Keep accurate records of student progress and interactions
Provide support for TI families and TI family night events
Regular, reliable and punctual attendance
Other duties as assigned
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Demonstrate mastery of whole number, fractions, decimals, and percentages in computations
REASONING ABILITY:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Implement and enforce school procedures, rules and the AAPS Rights and Responsibilities
guidelines Demonstrate initiative in handling situations
Demonstrate leadership Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
