Title/Escrow Officer

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we are looking for a Title/Escrow Officer. The escrow officer is the single point of contact for all outside parties in the closing process for the file assigned to him/her. They answer questions and provide exceptional customer service to everyone involved.

The Title/Escrow Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Conduct buyer/seller and remote closings.
• Manage assigned files from start to finish.
• Schedule closings and request title updates.
• Review and clear title issues and requirements.
• Prepare and balance draft/final CDs with lenders.
• Prepare and review closing documents.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, realtors, lenders, and other outside parties.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned files.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Follow company/lender disbursement requirements and provide them to Funding.
• Maintain positive relationships with loan officers and real estate agents.
• Confirm and provide information not handled by other BT departments.
• Contact the assigned File Attorney for legal questions/issues.
• Gather required departmental documents, including authorizations.
• Conduct lender/real estate agent visits and marketing with the Marketing Representative.
• Train new employees as needed.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Title or Escrow Officer.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a title/escrow file from start to finish.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Experience working with title and escrow software.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with Qualia software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple parties while managing competing priorities.

Pay Rate Range : $ 25.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
