Title I After School Tutor
POSITION TITLE:
Title I After School Tutor

Hourly rate: Teacher Contract Hourly Rate
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Title I
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Title I Academic Tutor works directly with identified Title I students that are failing or at risk of failing providing intervention support in reading, language arts, and math for the after school tutoring program
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of effective classroom teaching experience
- Thorough and complete knowledge of Indiana Academic Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards
- Proven leadership ability
- An explicit understanding of effective Math and Reading/Language Arts curriculum and instructional practices
- Appropriate Licensing to teach K-8, HQ
