TITLE 1: Attendance Committee Members

Program Details:

John Marshall is seeking Attendance Committee Members to implement action steps connected to the ASP Chronic Absenteeism goal for the 2026-2027 school year. Members will help by coordinating Title 1 activities, building relationships with families, and monitoring student attendance.

• Program reporting and summarizing
• Analyze data for students on Chronic List and students approaching chronic rate of absenteeism.
• Help plan and coordinate family events.
• Creating surveys for families.
• Case manage families on chronic absenteeism list.
• Support families to connect with school activities.
• Create newsletters for families regarding healthy habits to improve attendance.
• Implement Chronic Absenteeism Corrective Action Plan from NJDOE

The estimated amount of time to complete ASP work is 134 hours to be split among staff members for the year at a rate specified by the ETEA contract.

Time Frame: September 2026 thru June 2027

Hourly Rate: $30.00 an hour
