Title: Immigrant Summer Enrichment Program Facilitators

Job Description: The Summer Enrichment Program Facilitators will plan, coordinate, and facilitate a summer enrichment program designed to support K12 immigrant students, as defined by Title III-A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The program will provide academic enrichment, mentorship opportunities, cultural experiences, and educational field trips through both in-district and off-site learning experiences. Program dates and hours will be determined in collaboration with facilitators and the Director of Multilingual Education and World Language Education.

This position is contingent upon the availability of Title III-A Immigrant funding and sufficient student enrollment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification.
  • Internal candidates only. Must be currently working as a teacher in district.
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate in culturally appropriate ways with families and students.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple program components and manage logistics effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with families, community organizations, transportation companies and school personnel.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements.

Working Conditions: District Wide; Program will take place during July & August and is contingent of student enrollment and Title III-A funding
