Intermediate Architect – Job Captain | Residential and commercial projects

Our client in Rockland County, NY, is a highly regarded architectural firm known for creative, high-quality design and innovative solutions for the commercial and residential real estate industry. With decades of experience, the firm continues to deliver thoughtful, market-driven projects that respond to evolving client needs, sustainability goals, and changing regulatory requirements.

Description:
Immediate need for an Intermediate-level Architect – Job Captain with 2 – 4 years of experience that has worked professionally with Revit. Multi-family project experience is desired. In-person work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Working with your project team and managers through all phases of project development.
• Prepare all aspects of construction documents.
• Review and complete the redline drawings from the managers and QC teams.
• Work with consultants to coordinate information and the project needs.
• Prepare submission sets.
• Respond to any DOB comments with guidance from the project’s lead.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of architectural experience particularly in multi-family residential design.
• Professional working experience in Revit
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to adapt to office workflows and standards.

Education:
BS or BA Architecture or Master's
