Title Processor I

As a Processor I at Eastern Title, you will support the processing of residential real estate transactions by opening files, preparing title and closing documents, communicating with buyers, sellers, and lenders, and assisting with post-closing activities. Working alongside experienced processors, you will help ensure files are accurate, compliant, and completed efficiently while providing exceptional customer service throughout the transaction process. This is a customer-facing role, and strong communication and people skills are required.

The Processor I will be responsible for the following:

1. Create and open files for residential real estate transactions.

2. Communicate with the buyer, seller and lender during the closing process

3. Data entry relevant to Closing Disclosures/Settlement Statements and other required closing documents for residential properties.

4. Work with Processor II or Processor III on a file from start to finish.

5. Prepare title commitments and policies for lenders and borrowers/buyers

6. Electronically record original documents.

7. Review post-closing documents for accuracy and completion

8. Disburse settlement funds and documents to proper parties in accordance with closing instructions.

9. Assist in overflow of files. Provide coverage when needed.

The ideal candidate would possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain Notary Public for the Associates work location.
