JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for a variety of clerical and ownership transfer duties for the Assessor's office. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS tMaintains all transfers of real property administrative records. tInputs data into the CAMA system. tReviews recorded document for accuracy of ownership, provides necessary research and information for corrections. tAssists with computer input of annexations/inclusions, newly created taxing districts and property splits. tAnswers telephone inquiries, takes messages, assists the public and provides copies or other assessment information to other departments or the pub tAssists with property appeals process, handling complaints and answering questions. tUpdates and records all necessary information to a variety of cards, ownership books and computer locations. tPrepares and types correspondence and assists with administrative duties. tEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with all employees, other agencies, other county offices and the public. tPerforms other related job duties as assigned.
