    Job Summary
    The Title Clerk / Administrative Assistant manages automotive title and registration processing while providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the dealership's front office. This role ensures compliance with Washington State Department of Licensing (DOL) regulations while streamlining daily business operations. 
    $24.00 per hour DOE
     
    Core Responsibilities
    Title & Registration Processing
    • Process all new, used, and wholesale vehicle titles and registration paperwork accurately.
    • Submit legal transfer documents to the Washington DOL within state-mandated time frames
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory logs and title tracking systems.
    • Resolve title discrepancies, delays, or out-of-state titling issues promptly. 
    • Call & receive plates and Mail out
    Administrative & Clerical Support
    • Serve as an operational hub by managing data entry, filing, and document scanning.
    • Manage office inventory, order supplies, and maintain organized shared work spaces.
    • Handle incoming calls, route messages, and greet clients or vendors professionally.
    • reconciling schedule twice monthly to the GL
    • Processing Whole sales.
     
    Required Qualifications
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of automotive dealership or licensing sub-agency experience preferred.
    • Systems: Familiarity with dealership management systems  Dealertrack, is highly desired.
    • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, rapid 10-key typing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Compliance: Strong knowledge of local state laws regarding vehicle transfers and lien processing.
