Welcome to the Whittier City School District, a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade school district with eight elementary schools, two middle schools, one K-8 school, and two virtual learning academies. We serve approximately 6,300 students who matriculate into the Whittier Union High School District. Requirements / Qualifications

  • College transcripts reflecting 48 college level semester units and High School/GED - Minimum requirement • Bilingual (Spanish) required Pass District Spanish Language Proficiency Exam

Your application will be accepted only if it clearly indicates that the minimum requirements for the position are met and the application procedure has been followed. The Bilingual (Spanish) Instructional Aide works under general supervision, to perform a variety of ELD (English Language Development) instructional activities; performs a variety of supportive tasks and follow-up activities; serves as an interpreter and translator for parents and community members with limited English speaking ability, and does other related work as required.

  • Copy of Transcript (Minimum requirement of 48 semester college units)
  • Proof of HS Graduation (Please submit minimum of High School graduation/GED or college graduation certificate)
  • Resume (Please include reference contact phone numbers)
