TMA AmeriCorps VISTA will develop intentional and coordinated opportunities for civic engagement and learning through both curricular and extra-curricular activities for Coppin State University students.
The targeted population of students includes first year and second year students.
The opportunities include:
- First Year Seminar experiences
- Service Days
- Community service projects
- Coordinating voting drives
- Service learning
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute student centered civic engagement and community service projects
- Maintain Data
- Assist students with plans and preparation for Civic engagement and community service projects
- Connect with non-profit organizations to establish partnerships
