TMA AmeriCorps VISTA will develop intentional and coordinated opportunities for civic engagement and learning through both curricular and extra-curricular activities for Coppin State University students with an emphasis on engagement in environmental service projects. The targeted population of students includes first year and second year students. VISTA activities include: -Connecting with non-profit organizations to establish partnerships -Planning and executing student-centered civic engagement and community service projects with a focus on environmental projects -Maintaining data on all program activities -Assisting students with plans and preparation for civic engagement and community service projects -Connecting with non-profit organizations to establish partnerships
