This position will be responsible for developing and updating curriculum for the Tomahawk Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Target Coordinate Mensuration (TCM) Geopositioning Analyst course at the schoolhouse and developing and updating curriculum and instructing the Geopositioning, Navigation Products, and Weaponeering for other customers. The position will also be responsible for updating imagery-related and Job Qualification Requirements (JQR) materials supporting TMPC. This will consist of ensuring that the manuals reflect the latest technical capability and operational performance standards. Additional tasking may include conducting system testing, site acceptance testing (SAT) supporting installations of software, and reviewing other material that is supported by Targeting and Navigation Toolset (TNT) and weaponeering knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will be a member of a development and training team but expected to work independently and in accordance with published schedules. Extensive liaison with Fleet and other contractor staff members to solicit input and review the status of the qualification manuals as they are developed is required.

JOB SUMMARY

This position requires a strong technical background in imagery analysis and the ability to work comfortably and effectively with team members as well as the military and government operators. Daily duties will include building and updating curriculum to support instructing various customers in the Virginia Beach lab and other locations when required by the customers.

The position requires occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel to various customer sites. You must be willing to learn Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to support validation and testing of targeting and navigational installation updates at the Cruise Missile Support Activity (CMSA) or Tomahawk Strike Mission Planning Center (TSMPC) sites using various imagery systems and interfaces for CONUS and OCONUS customers. This position is located in our Virginia Beach office.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six years of intelligence operations experience on Targeting and Navigation Toolset (TNT)

  • National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Imagery Analysis Course, Geospatial Intelligence Training Program, or equivalent

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

  • Must have normal color vision and normal stereoscopic acuity

  • Qualified weaponeer using Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual (JMEM) Weaponeering Software (JWS)

  • Strong background in Imagery Analysis, Targeting, and Weaponeering, and creation in navigational products used in mission creation

  • Knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes

  • Willingness to learn, solve problems and perform in a dynamic work environment

  • Ability to become a Mobile Certification Team (MCT) member to certify TCM/Target Materials Production (TMP) analysts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a TNT operator at a CMSA and/or a TSMPC

  • Familiar with the operation of: SOCET GXP, DIEE, CGS, Google Earth, ARCGIS, JWS, JTT, RPPM, and MIDB

  • Prior Master Training Specialist

  • Prior experience using Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) software
