The TMS Implementation Specialist / Travel Business Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, integration, testing, and deployment of the client's automated, web-based Travel Management System (TMS). This Travel Business Analyst serves as the functional and technical liaison between business stakeholders, system vendors, and integration teams to ensure the solution aligns with operational, financial, and compliance requirements.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>The Travel Business Analyst supports system implementation from requirements gathering through go-live and stabilization, ensuring seamless integration with the client's existing financial management (FM), expense, ERP, monitoring, and reimbursement systems, as well as travel claim audit services and customer support operations. <\/span><\/span> <\/p>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span> <\/h3>Thie TMS Implementation Specialist / Travel Business Analyst is critical to ensuring successful implementation and integration of the client's Travel Management System, delivering a secure, compliant, and fully integrated solution that supports efficient travel booking, monitoring, reimbursement processing, and traveler support services. Duties are Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>System Configuration & Deployment:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Configure the TMS to align with the client''s travel policies, approval hierarchies, compliance controls, and reporting requirements.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support platform setup including user roles, workflows, booking configurations, and policy enforcement rules.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Coordinate deployment activities, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>Systems Integration:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Design and support integrations between the TMS and financial management (FM), expense, ERP, monitoring, and reimbursement systems using APIs and secure data interfaces.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with technical teams to map data fields, validate data flows, and ensure system interoperability.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Troubleshoot integration issues and support resolution in coordination with vendors and internal IT teams.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>Business Analysis & Requirements Management:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Elicit, document, and validate functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Translate business requirements into system configuration specifications and integration design documentation.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements aligned with best practices.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>Testing & Quality Assurance:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation scenarios for system configuration and integrations.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead workflow validation and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure system readiness prior to production deployment.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>Project & Change Management Support:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Support project planning activities, milestones, and deliverables.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with stakeholder communications, training coordination, and change management initiatives.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop user documentation and job aids to support adoption of the new system.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3>Minimum Qualifications/Experience:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of three (3) years of experience with travel management systems, APIs, and system integrations.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in project management and change management.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience configuring and deploying web-based enterprise applications.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrated experience integrating travel systems with financial management, expense, or ERP platforms.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in corporate or government travel environments preferred.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/p>Preferred Competencies:<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Working knowledge of API frameworks, secure data exchanges, and enterprise system integration methodologies.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong understanding of travel policy compliance, workflow automation, and audit controls.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to bridge functional and technical teams effectively.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>Minimum Education:<\/span> <\/h3> <\/span><\/span> <\/p>· <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
