Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Interact with children at all times.
Provide curriculum materials that are developmentally appropriate.
Have them-related lesson plans that are age appropriate.
Maintain control of the group.
Maintain discipline as outlined in the Infant/Toddler Handbook.
Oversee and interact with children during outside play time. Count children going out and coming in.
Accompany children at all times.
Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones.
Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities.
Qualification
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED Experience in childcare.
Must have a Department of Early Education and Care / Office of Childcare Services Group Childcare Certificate, OR transcript.
3 credits in Child Development/ 9 months experience in early childhood
