About the Role:
Join our nurturing team at The Goddard School of East Cobb/Marietta as a Toddler Assistant Teacher! In this rewarding position, you will help shape young minds while fostering a love for learning in a safe and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Engage toddlers in interactive activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for children to explore and learn.
- Support daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain classroom organization and prepare materials for activities.
- Observe and document children's development and behavior.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Background check clearance required.
- Positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.
