Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Toddler Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, supporting their growth and development through age-appropriate activities and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and document children''s progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Lead and supervise assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies.
• Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a lead teacher with toddlers (ages 1-3 years).
• Relevant early childhood education certification or degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a classroom team.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
