Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience - Jenison is hiring an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to turn that natural curiosity into engaging learning experiences while providing the consistency and positive guidance young children need.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Toddler classroom activities and routines
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, language, and hands-on exploration
- Encourage communication, independence, and positive social interactions
- Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required
- Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred
- Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver
- Patient, energetic, organized, and dependable
