About the Role:
Anchor Point Early Learning Academy in North Smithfield, RI, is looking for a passionate, nurturing Toddler Teacher to join its growing team! Responsibilities:

•  Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddler-aged children
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional development
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing standards
• Supervise toddlers during play, meals, and rest times with attentiveness and care
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for toddler-age children
• Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Must meet Rhode Island DCYF childcare licensing requirements
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
