About the Role:
Purple Moon Early Learning Center in Northglenn, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally driven lesson plans and activities for toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
• Maintain open, positive communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols in accordance with state childcare licensing regulations
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive, team-oriented learning environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Level 2 Crediential, or equivalent early childhood education coursework
• Previous experience of 1 year or more working with toddlers or young children in a childcare or preschool setting required
• Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and best practices in early childhood education
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass a background check in compliance with Colorado childcare licensing requirements
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
