Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Warren, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and a strong understanding of child development principles specific to this age group. This role requires a nurturing individual who can create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers to explore and grow.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers.
• Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and document each child''s progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Maintain compliance with Rhode Island state regulations and licensing requirements for toddler care and education.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective early childhood program.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a toddler teacher or in a similar early childhood education role, preferably within Rhode Island.
• Knowledge of Rhode Island toddler teacher regulations and best practices.
• Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and appropriate teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA credential or higher education in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
