About the Role:
The Learning Voyage Student Success in Winder, GA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during one of the most critical developmental stages in a child's life. Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddler-aged children
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social-emotional development
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with state childcare regulations
  • Supervise toddlers during play, meals, nap time, and daily routines
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning experience
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or early childhood education degree preferred
  • Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
  • Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
  • Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
