About the Position
As a Toddler Team Teacher, you will work alongside other educators to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate, play-based activities.
- Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
- Engage children through art, music, sensory play, stories, outdoor activities, and hands-on learning.
- Observe and document children's development and progress.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
- Build positive relationships with children and families.
- Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day and development.
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leadership.
- Follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Genuine love for working with young children.
- Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience preferred.
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus.
- Dependable, patient, energetic, and nurturing.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to complete required training and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
