Our client is looking for a skilled Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to support stamping operations by maintaining, repairing, and improving tooling. This is a direct hire position, meaning you’ll be a permanent employee from the start—not a contract or temp role.
Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on stamping dies
Support progressive, transfer, and blanking die operations
Diagnose tooling issues and execute timely repairs to reduce downtime
Conduct preventive maintenance, sharpening, and adjustments
Read and interpret tooling prints, schematics, and GD&T drawings
Document repairs, modifications, and improvements
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve tooling performance
3+ years of tool and die experience in a stamping environment
Strong knowledge of progressive dies and tooling systems
Experience with die repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Proficiency with micrometers, indicators, and precision measuring tools
Experience with surface grinders and CNC/manual machining preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Direct hire—full-time employment from day one
