Global Job Trainer – Mold Maintenance

This role involves creating and maintaining high-quality training materials, delivering structured on-the-job training, and mentoring local job coaches. The position requires a strong focus on maintaining mold performance and collaborating within a global training network to ensure consistency and adherence to global standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and standardized work documents.
  • Deliver TWI Job Instruction and support training for new hires and upskilling efforts.
  • Mentor and evaluate local job coaches across all shifts.
  • Monitor and enhance training effectiveness, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on molds to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and develop long-term solutions for recurring mold issues.
  • Participate in meetings to align training needs and reinforce performance expectations.
  • Serve as the local expert for global training standards and ensure their implementation.
  • Collaborate with global trainers to share knowledge and resolve challenges.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mold repair and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of workflows, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding team members.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written) at CEFR level B2–C1 or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Polymer Science or AIM trade school preferred.
  • Experience in high tolerance environments, ideally in medical or automotive industries.
  • Technical training or certifications in manufacturing or maintenance are a plus.
  • Experience with LEAN, standard work, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with digital systems such as MES, SAP, or CHAMP.

Work Environment

The role follows an 8am-4pm M-F schedule with eligibility for overtime. A hybrid work policy requires an average of 3 days per week in the office. International travel for training is necessary, so a passport is required.

This is a Permanent position based out of South Chesterfield, VA.

Pay and Benefits
