We are looking for a talented and experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic Manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your skills in an innovative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing specific tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring the seamless operation of our production lines.

Responsibilities

1. Design and fabricate tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for use in the manufacturing process.
2. Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring they are calibrated and functional.
3. Perform precision grinding tasks using surface grinders to meet exact specifications.
4. Utilize cold heading and thread rolling techniques in fastener making processes.
5. Apply knowledge of metalworking and tool grinding to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
6. Perform regular inspections and measurements to ensure tools and dies are within tolerance levels.
7. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to understand tool requirements and provide solutions.
8. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
9. Troubleshoot and repair tooling problems, minimizing production downtime.
10. Continually strive for process improvement, suggesting changes that enhance efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Tool and Die Maker role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in cold heading, thread rolling, and fastener making.
3. Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines.
4. Demonstrated skills in tool grinding, surface grinding, and metalworking.
5. Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the production of high-quality tools and dies.
7. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair tooling issues.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
10. A commitment to safety, demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.
