Custom Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker III to join our growing team at our facility in Mendota Heights, MN. This senior role is responsible for leading the construction, testing, and troubleshooting of complex metal stamping dies, mentoring junior toolmakers, optimizing part designs, and ensuring precise, high-quality production.

Responsibilities:
  • Build, assemble, and troubleshoot progressive dies, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD designs, and GD&T specifications for precise manufacturing.
  • Operate machinery including lathes, grinders, milling machines, and drill presses.
  • Develop flat blank geometry and contribute to part design optimization.
  • Train and mentor Level I & II toolmakers.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of tool & die making experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification preferred.
  • Strong machining skills and manual dexterity.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading, CAD software, and precision measurement.

This is a direct hire, long term career opportunity, the starting pay range is $32-$40 an hour (doe) plus benefits and room for advancement.
