Description
Pay rate: $28.50 - $38.50 DOE
We are seeking skilled Tool & Die Makers for 2nd and 3rd shift to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling used in manufacturing operations. This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints, plan machining operations, and work to extremely close tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and repair dies, fixtures, gauges, jigs, and special tooling
Fit and assemble components to tolerances of ±.001"
Set up and operate tool room equipment
Service, overhaul, and troubleshoot production stamping dies and tooling
Construct experimental tooling for new product and process development
Operate heat-treating equipment and furnaces
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications
Recommend tooling improvements and collaborate with engineering teams
Complete required documentation, inspection reports, and job records
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Experience in tool and die making, machining, or a related trade
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions
Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and hand tools
Experience with tool room equipment setup and operation
Ability to troubleshoot and repair tooling in a production environment
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety standards
