We're seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair progressive and transfer stamping dies that support high-volume metal stamping operations.
Responsibilities
Build, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair progressive, transfer, and blanking dies.
Diagnose tooling issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and CAD prints.
Machine, grind, fit, and polish tool components to precise tolerances.
Operate manual toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification preferred or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience building and repairing metal stamping dies.
Strong understanding of progressive and transfer die construction.
Experience working with high-volume stamping operations.
Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
