Harvey Vogel Manufacturing Co., a leader in metal stampings has immediate openings for experienced Tool & Die Makers on our 1st and 2nd shifts. Our tool makers build and maintain a wide range of progressive, compound, and secondary dies.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities/Skills:
- Build and troubleshoot new tooling per design requirements
- Modify existing tooling per customer requirements
- Support multiple company departments
- Communicate with department managers on status of jobs
- Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Must be able to utilize surface grinders, drill presses, Bridgeport mills, and secondary toolroom equipment.
- Knowledge and operation of all tool room equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of Tool Making experience!
