Tool & Die Repair
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform extensive die maintenance such as rebuilding die sections, retrimming pads and forms, and engineering changes on all types of dies. • Set up and operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, blanchard, and surface grinders to machine parts and verify conformance of machine parts to specifications. • Determine specifications for inspection of work using a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during, and after machining. • Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions and visualize products to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts and make repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Journeyman Card preferred • 2 to 5 years of experience • Troubleshooting skills • Metal stamping and manufacturing experience preferred
PAY AND SHIFT TIMES
• $36.00 per hour • 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm • OT as required • 2.00 per hour more if Journeyman Card has been obtained
This full-time hourly role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Tool and Die Manager.
