Tool and Die Tech

Our client is in search of a highly skilled professional to expertly build, repair, and maintain dies, tooling, and fixtures, ensuring smooth production operations. This role demands precision, expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic plant environment.

• Utilize machine shop tools and measuring instruments to construct and repair tooling with precision.
• Interpret blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, and jigs.
• Efficiently set up and operate all tool room equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to promptly resolve tooling issues.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adapt to additional tasks as directed by management.

Work Environment: Operate within a plant setting, engaging with tooling in and out of presses.

Physical Requirements: Stand and walk throughout the workday, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform tasks that involve pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and stooping.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with stamping dies is essential.
• Possession of a Journeyman's Tool and Die Maker's card or certification is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
