Dove Die & Stamping is seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers and Die Repair Technicians to join our team. This position is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving metal stamping dies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain stamping dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling and production issues.
• Perform die sharpening, rework, rebuilds, and press support.
• Read and interpret blueprints, die layouts, and engineering drawings.
• Perform machining, grinding, fitting, and assembly work.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Tool & Die or Die Repair experience.
• Experience with progressive, single-stage, compound, or line dies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
• Machining, grinding, and press troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Apprenticeship completion is a plus.

Preferred

• Transfer die, deep draw die, fixture, or gauge experience.
• Welding and heat-treat experience.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
