In this role you will be responsible for building, maintaining and troubleshooting Progressive Dies, fixtures, jigs, and inspection gages used in the manufacturing process of metal stamping, assembly and automation. Responsibilities· Building, repair and maintain stamping tools, per design requirements.· Modify existing tooling per customer changes and requirements.· Knowledge and ability to perform rebuilds, sharpen and repair blanking dies.· Ability to troubleshoot press and die problems.· Perform changeovers on multiple part tooling.· Ability to train other team members· Reporting daily time entry with description of work performed.· Advising and reporting usage of spare tooling components and shop supplies.· Other duties as deemed necessary Qualifications· Basic computer skills preferred, including the ability to access electronic work instructions, enter production data, and use Microsoft Outlook.· Excellent verbal and written skills, ability to work from verbal and written instructions.· Team oriented· Self-motivated· TMA certificate or equivalent· Minimum 5 years' experience is preferred· Knowledge and operation of all tool room equipment safely and efficiently· Knowledge of proper die-building procedures· Knowledge of punch press equipment and metal forming processes Other Benefits Include· Medical, Dental and Vision· 401 (k) with company match· Holiday, Vacation and Personal Time Off· Tuition Reimbursement· Employee Assistance Program (EAP)· Short Term Disability· Group Life and Accidental Insurance US Pay TransparencyThe base salary for this role will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.If your salary requirements exceed the advertised range and you remain interested in Weiss-Aug, we encourage you to apply.Weiss-Aug is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
