Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant

Location: Modern Industries – Erie, PA Overview:
Modern Industries is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker with a strong background in fixtures and gauging. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and possess hands-on experience with Bridgeports, engine lathes, and surface grinders. This is a long-term, full-time, direct hire opportunity for someone willing to work 1st and 2nd shift. Key Responsibilities: - Perform precision machining using Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, and surface grinders
- Design and fabricate fixtures
- Execute tool and die work to support manufacturing operations
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work area
- Work independently to meet production and quality standards
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker or Class A Machinist
- Proficient in fixture design and use of manual machining equipment
- Formal training or education in Tool & Die (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (1st and 2nd)
