Responsibilities:
- The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies and tooling.
- Key daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating machinery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment performs at optimal levels.
- Additionally, the Tool & Die Maker will work closely with production teams to support manufacturing activities, maintain tool quality, and implement improvements for operational efficiency.
Requirements:- Proficiency in toolmaking, die maintenance, and experience working with stamping dies
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings
- Experience with operating machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and CNC machinery
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and precision measurement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when necessary
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Journeyman certification in Tool & Die Making is preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Previous manufacturing experience in industries such as automotive, defense, or energy is a plus
