Our client has been in business for nearly 100 yrs and employs 200+ locally. They manufacture small connectors and fittings used by major major construction and electrical contractors and distributors. The variety of precision parts allows employees to learn different processes move between lines. Presently we are hiring for Tool and Die Mold Makers

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, make detailed sketches, and work from verbal instructions to make or modify existing tooling.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems with little or no supervisory instruction.
  • Make sure work performed is checked for accuracy and proper fit.
  • Layout and perform all bench & required machine operations.
  • Record all changes made to tooling or machines and submit to Department Foreperson or Supervisor for review.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years experience as a toolmaker. 
  • Able to set-up and operate Toolroom equipment including but not limited to Mill, Lathe, Grinders, and Saws.
  • Ability to learn set-up and programming of 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, Sinker EDM, & Wire EDM.
  • Capable of programming and using Solidworks, Esprit, and Mastercam software.
  • Good Computer skills.
  • Possess own basic precision measuring tools.
  • Basic knowledge of metallurgy and steel properties.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay Rate:
$65,000 - $85,000

Schedule:
Mon - Fri
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
