SUMMARY: Work with the Tooling Engineers and Managers to develop and maintain efficient and reliable tooling processes. Troubleshoot any problems that are presented during production or on the bench. REQUIREMENT:
Must have experience in repairing and maintaining heavy presses, transfer and progressive dies is a must!
High School Diploma or GED
Certified Toolmaker (preferred)
3 yrs experience in Tool and Die field
Apprenticeship Program completion (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from tool room schedule to ensure that production tooling and equipment is ready to meet customer requirements
Troubleshoot tooling problems at presses
Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production
Work on production equipment when necessary to maintain production
