We're looking for an experienced Tool & Die Technician to join our manufacturing team on the night shift. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving stamping dies to keep production running safely and efficiently. The posting below is based on the attached job description.
Training Requirement for Tool & Die Technician
All new hires will complete 1–3 months of paid training on 1st shift before transitioning to nights.
Night Shift Schedule
Rotating 12-hour shifts
Sunday through Friday
6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
Responsibilities for Tool & Die Technician
Repair and maintain stamping dies and tooling
Perform preventive maintenance on tooling
Troubleshoot and repair dies during production
Machine, rebuild, and spot dies using milling, turning, drilling, and grinding equipment
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as needed
Maintain tooling inventory and spare parts
Help ensure quality parts and minimize production downtime
Qualifications for Tool & Die Technician
High school diploma or GED
Toolmaker apprenticeship, Journeyman certification, or machining degree preferred
5+ years of automotive Tool & Die experience preferred
Experience with Class A automotive tooling is a plus
Knowledge of pneumatics, press operations, and nut-setting equipment
Basic CAD drawing knowledge
Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick welding, and hard brazing
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely in a manufacturing environment
